The foundation set by our forefathers have been important so that we can learn, evolve, strengthen, and grow as a nation.
The Article below defines the Foundation of America
The known founding fathers of the nation, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and Benjamin Franklin signed the Declaration of Independence from England in 1776. They came up with a foundation that would stand as the national motto. Together, they pondered many different themes to set the United States apart from other nations. The committee decided that, " E Pluribus Unum" would be the national motto. These Latin words would define the struggle that would refine the meaning of becoming a leading nation.
"E Pluribus Unum", translates as "Out of Many, One". This de facto motto redefined America as the 13 colonies reunited to become a nation that would try become the leading nation.

The unity of 13 colonies behind this statement signifies its determination to come together and conquer. The influence of the American Revolution validated the meaning of the blending of different values, morals, religions and cultures to become one.

A Evolving Foundation
Eventually, the United States decided to make "In God We Trust" the national motto. Its set the foundation of the belief in God. The US Congress recognizes the basis of what America stands for which is the belief in God. Our foundation is stronger because of our faith in Him. It is by our faith God that this country was founded.
